  Fertility Services

For women, the best time to start TCM treatment is a minimum of three months before trying to conceive naturally or starting any Assisted Reproductive Therapy (ART). There are several reasons for this. First, it can take up to 150 days for a follicle to fully mature, so TCM treatment is most effective when initiated during the antral follicle stage, or 120 days prior to maturation. Second, your situation most likely didn't develop overnight. It will take some time for your body to get back into balance - nature can't be rushed. Instead, we will gently guide your body back to a more balanced and efficient form. When the body functions in a more balanced state, health improves and generally pregnancy follows. Finally, giving yourself a break will allow you and your partner the chance to rekindle your bond. Very often my patients say the passion has dwindled in their relationship. This break will give you the chance to remember how to be spontaneous, and how to enjoy yourself and your partner.

TCM Treatment includes four aspects: Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Diet and Lifestyle. It is important to understand that there are many things you can do for yourself when trying to conceive. This is where diet and lifestyle can become very empowering aspects of treatment. We will work together as a team to enhance your fertility and help you achieve your goals.

TCM has been very helpful in treating the following conditions:
