Philosophy

My work assists couples in not only conceiving, but also carrying that pregnancy to term and delivering a healthy baby. Many of the couples I see have been very successful in every other facet in life because they work hard. Nothing is more frustrating and spirit draining than to be proactively working to conceive and it is just not happening. You may be taking medication, or closely watching your fertility monitor and charting your temperatures. Perhaps you are conceiving but not staying pregnant. Our work is to help shift that work paradigm just a bit. My goal is to help you feel empowered, to help you be present in this very moment – without fear or anxiety and to be open to the possibility of success.

Independent Contractor

I have been practicing Chinese Medicine and herbal therapy for the past 10 years.  I have maintained and operated general practices in Colorado, Minnesota, and Washington.  My general practice has always had a focus on women’s health and fertility issues.  Helping people to try and reach that balance for a healthier life.  I have active acupuncture licenses in Washington and Colorado and board certified by the NCCAOM.  I made the decision to join the staff at Abundant Spring because of their focus on assisting people with reproductive health using acupuncture and herbal therapy.

I graduated from COE College in Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in biology.  I am a graduate of the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine where I studied Chinese medicine and herbal therapy. Upon graduation I continued my training with Professor Emmett Smith, working in his Anchopoint practice in Colorado, where I eventually became an instructor.  While working with Professor Smith, I received intensive training in the Eight Extra Meridians.  I have also studied Fertility and Assisted Reproductive Technology at the Jade Institute in Washington.

We are fortunate to live in a time where there are many options available for health care choices.  Eastern and Western medicine can easily be combined to work together to benefit you.  Chinese Medicine can also be combined with many other modalities with great success.  I am a believer in using everything available to achieve balance.  When your life and your body are in balance there is a greater possibility for success.  I firmly believe that in working together I can benefit you on your journey to good health and success.
